Bangladesh: Tarique Rahman, acting chairman of the BNP, stated that the people of Bangladesh are eager to reclaim their right to express themselves freely.
He emphasized that citizens want to receive fair opportunities according to their abilities. “The time has come for all of us to come together and rebuild our country,” he said.
He made these remarks at a reception held on Thursday (December 25) afternoon on 300 Feet Road in Dhaka.
Tarique Rahman arrived on stage at 3:50 pm and began his address at 3:57 pm, opening with, “Beloved Bangladesh.”
He extended greetings to the nation and expressed gratitude to Rabbul Alamin, acknowledging that by divine blessings he has returned to his homeland.
“Our cherished motherland was won through the sacrifices of countless martyrs,” he said.
Tarique Rahman also highlighted the BNP’s vision of a safe Bangladesh. “We aim to build a country where the dreams of a mother can come true. A Bangladesh where every woman, man, and child—regardless of who they are—can leave their home safely and return safely, Insha’Allah,” he added.
