BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia, who is currently undergoing medical treatment in London, will now return to Bangladesh a day later than previously announced. Instead of May 5, she is scheduled to arrive on Tuesday (May 6).
The update was shared with the media shortly before midnight on Saturday (May 3) by Shairul Kabir Khan, a member of BNP's media cell.
He stated that the information was provided under the direction of BNP’s Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Standing Committee member and physician Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain.
Earlier in the evening, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir told the press that Khaleda Zia would return to Dhaka aboard a special air ambulance sent by the Emir of Qatar.
