Iran Signals Openness to Diplomacy Amid Rising Tensions with Israel and the West

Iran has expressed willingness to consider diplomatic engagement, but only if "the aggression is stopped," according to its foreign minister.
The statement came after discussions with several European foreign ministers.
Diplomatic efforts are reportedly ongoing, with officials from France, the UK, and Germany expressing their strong interest in continuing talks on Iran's nuclear program. "We are keen to see ongoing discussions on Tehran's nuclear programme," they stated.
However, US President Donald Trump cast doubt on these efforts, asserting, "Iran doesn't want to speak to Europe, Iran wants to speak to us," suggesting a shift in focus toward direct US-Iran dialogue.
Meanwhile, hostilities between Israel and Iran have escalated. Israel was hit by a new round of Iranian strikes earlier in the day, amid ongoing exchanges of fire between the two nations.
In response, the Israeli military claimed to have targeted dozens of sites, including facilities allegedly used for missile manufacturing in Tehran.
This tense backdrop comes as the White House announced that President Trump will decide within the next two weeks whether to pursue direct US military action.
