Arrest Warrants Issued Against Sheikh Hasina and Asaduzzaman Khan

The International Crimes Tribunal has issued arrest warrants against former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and then Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan of the ousted Awami League government, in relation to alleged misconduct during the July uprising.
The tribunal, comprising three members and headed by Justice Md Golam Mortuja Mojumder, delivered the order on Sunday. The other two members of the panel are Justice Md Shafiul Alam Mahmud and retired District and Sessions Judge Md Mohitul Haque Enam Chowdhury.
In this case, the then Inspector General of Police (IGP), Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun, has already been arrested. Meanwhile, both Sheikh Hasina and Asaduzzaman Khan have been declared fugitives.
The tribunal has ordered that all three accused be produced before the court on June 16.
