The United States Department of State has announced a reward of up to $10 million for information on key Iranian figures, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei and other senior officials.
According to the Rewards for Justice program, those providing actionable intelligence could also be eligible for relocation.
The list of individuals includes:
Minister of Intelligence, Esmail Khatib
Deputy Chief of Staff, Ali Asghar Hejazi
Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi
Brigadier General Eskandar Momeni
Secretary to the Supreme Council, Ali Larijani
“These individuals command and direct elements of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), which plan, organize, and execute acts of terrorism globally,” the program stated.
US Confirms Six Soldiers Killed in Jet Crash over Iraq
The US military confirmed that six service members died when a KC-135 Stratotanker refueling aircraft crashed in western Iraq. Officials emphasized that the incident was neither the result of hostile fire nor friendly fire, and the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
Images circulating online showed damage to another KC-135 at Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport, though US authorities have not confirmed whether this plane was involved in the Iraq incident. Flight tracking data indicates the aircraft had flown over Jordan before approaching Israel.
Massive Iranian Rally Marks al-Quds Day in Tehran
In Iran, tens of thousands of people gathered in Tehran for al-Quds Day, an annual rally in solidarity with Palestine. The demonstrations, which coincided with ongoing US-Israeli airstrikes on Iranian targets, included public appearances by top Iranian officials such as Ali Larijani and President Pezeshkian.
Protesters expressed defiance against foreign attacks, with one stating: “They think that by dropping bombs on us we will be afraid. No, we stand by our country.” The event has been observed annually since 1979, highlighting Iran’s support for the Palestinian cause.
Iran and Regional Military Escalations
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed responsibility for launching missiles and drones at Israel in coordination with Hezbollah. The operation targeted American and Israeli military positions using precision-guided missiles and solid-fuel Kheibar Shekan rockets.
Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia intercepted six drones targeting its eastern region, and Israel reported attacks on 150 Iranian sites, including missile storage facilities. Reports indicate shrapnel from Iranian missiles fell in the Tel Aviv area, sparking fires but causing no reported casualties.
Repatriation Efforts and Ongoing War Impacts
Iran has arranged special transport to return approximately 180 sailors stranded in India, following the sinking of an Iranian warship off Sri Lanka on March 4 by a US strike. The vessel, reportedly unarmed, resulted in the deaths of 84 sailors.
Additionally, internet restrictions in Iran have intensified, with authorities arresting a man accused of illegally selling Starlink access to bypass the ongoing blackout.
