Iran Strikes Back as Mideast Tensions Escalate into Fourth Day

The ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel has intensified, entering its fourth day with fresh missile strikes launched by Iran.
Explosions were reported in Tehran shortly after former US President Donald Trump urged immediate evacuation of the Iranian capital. Meanwhile, Trump is also cutting short his participation in the G7 summit amid rising tensions.
Although the US National Security Council has been called to meet, American officials confirm that the US is not participating in Israel’s military actions against Iran.
On the ground in Tehran, panic is mounting. Roads are jammed, and residents are expressing frustration over evacuation calls. “How can 10 million people evacuate?” one local asked.
In Israel, air raid sirens have been triggered several times, though no major damage has been reported. Earlier, Israel claimed responsibility for targeting Iranian state media offices in Tehran, with the attack broadcast live.
According to Iran’s health ministry, at least 224 people have died since Israeli strikes began on Friday. Israel, in turn, has reported 24 casualties so far.
