The voice and accent of Deepika Padukone—once mocked and ridiculed in Bollywood—has now been selected as one of the new voices for Meta AI. Her voice will now be heard by users across various parts of the world.
According to a report by The Wall, Deepika’s voice will be available not only in India but also in several other countries, including the United States, Canada, England, New Zealand, and Australia. The actress herself shared this news on social media.
While expressing her excitement about the collaboration with Meta, Deepika also reflected on the difficult early days of her career.
In a recent interview, she said, “At this moment, I am the voice of Meta AI. But there was a time early in my Bollywood journey when people would constantly mock my voice and my accent.”
