Deadly Strike on Sumy: 34 Killed in Russian Missile Attack

In a devastating morning attack on the Ukrainian city of Sumy, at least 34 people have been killed and 117 injured, including 15 children, after two Russian Iskander ballistic missiles struck near Sumy State University and its congress centre.
The attack occurred at approximately 10:15 local time, leaving the city center in ruins and emergency services scrambling to rescue survivors.
Among the injured is an infant girl born this year, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky revealed in a statement, highlighting the severity of the humanitarian toll. "Doctors are doing everything they can to save as many lives as possible," he said.
