Popular Bangladeshi actress Shomi Kaisar has been granted bail in a case of attempted murder filed at the Uttara East police station in the capital.
The High Court bench, consisting of Justice Abu Taher Mohammad Saifur Rahman and Justice Mohammad Shawkat Ali Chowdhury, announced the decision on Wednesday (March 12, 2025), declaring the rule absolute in her favor.
After the verdict, Deputy Attorney General Redwan Ahmed Ranjib stated that the High Court granted bail to Shomi Kaisar in the case until the police report is submitted.
